Providence of Wilmington reflects its setting as a forest by the sea, where towering trees create a sense of protection and calm. The client envisioned her home as a sanctuary cradled by the forest, while also celebrating her extensive art collection. The design process centered on bringing her artwork and keepsakes to life in a way that felt personal, fun, and deeply connected to place.
Throughout the home, curated art and generational pieces are complemented by tile, stone, wallpaper, and faux paint finishes. The master bedroom stands out with an autumnal mural, a hand-fluted fire feature, and romantic furnishings that create a warm retreat. Wallpaper plays a central role across the interiors, setting the tone in multiple spaces while allowing the art to remain the true star.
